Aussie Webb in mix for a cool million

Australian Karrie Webb has easily qualified for the final round of the lucrative ADT Championship in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Webb shot a four-under-par 68, the day's third best score at the Trump International course, to join Americans Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr, Natalie Gulbis and Sarah Lee, Mexico's world number one Lorena Ochoa and South Koreans Mi Hyun Kim and Christina Kim in advancing to tomorrow's shootout for the $US1 million ($A1.13 million) first-prize purse.

All eight players will start from scratch in the unusual tournament format being used at the season-ending event, rendering today's best rounds by Creamer and Ochoa - a pair of six-under-par 66s - as little more than confidence boosters.

Webb's 68 was next best, followed by Kerr's 69 and 68s from Gulbis and Lee.

Lane shadowed Brillheart as the agent went about her daily online patrols in Port- land. While the actress, who turned 43 Tuesday, did not become an expert on infiltrating Internet crime, she came away with a greater understanding and appreciation of online crime prevention. "I adore her," Lane said of Brillheart. "It helped a lot to have the real McCoy. It was really comforting to see somebody who was so capable.
