| Martz: Woody's emergence changes everything
"I think for a lot of reasons. Like I told you last week - remember this time last week when we talked about it - how we were excited about the way we've been practicing and the progress that we've made, particularly in the offensive line. The right guard is settling in really good and then (Damien) Woody has really kind of taken over that right tackle (position). The hopes that we had for him playing real well -- he exceeded those hopes, he was outstanding. That makes all the difference in the world.'' On the difference between playing guard and tackle: "It's just a different world inside, that's a really fast and violent game inside. (It helps) the more stout you are and the more physical - and he's all those things. What he can't demonstrate inside is his quick feet and athleticism, but outside it really shows up." Tackles are often moved to guard, but guards are almost never moved to tackle, so why is Woody bucking the trend? "Well that's what I'm saying, he had this ability that was never really probably taken advantage of, other than when he was at center in New England.
